Friends of Lyndhurst Surgery (FOLS) is a charity which was set up in 1994 – our purpose was and still is to support our local surgery. Membership of the FOLS committee is restricted to twelve people with many others wishing to work alongside us, these people known as “Friends of FOLS” are invaluable to us
Fundraising has proven difficult over recent years due to the pandemic. However our aim is to continually raise funds through various activities with such funds going towards the cost of new equipment and the servicing requirements of items already in use.
As equipment reaches the end of its useful life and is deemed to be unserviceable it becomes a priority to purchase like replacements, this of course being an on-going situation.
